Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional chef experience
  • culinary school degree or relevant training
  • flexible weekday availability, ideally Monday-Thursday or Sunday-Wednesday
  • reliable transportation within Los Angeles
  • ability to work independently
  • access to a computer
  • friendly and professional communication skills
  • willingness to work in various private homes

Job Duties

  • Prepare customized health-focused weekly meal preps for clients
  • cook for small-scale dinner parties in private client homes
  • create and write flexible menus tailored to clients’ dietary restrictions and preferences
  • communicate directly and professionally with clients
  • adapt cooking methods to accommodate allergies and special diets such as gluten-free, dairy-free, low glycemic, and Fodmap
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in various kitchen settings
  • manage time efficiently to meet clients’ schedules
