The role available at Whole Foods Market is for a Multi-Team Team Member within the retail store environment. This is an entry-level position where team members support multiple teams by performing duties related to customer service, stocking, and sanitation in assigned departments. Employees in this position must be flexible to perform various tasks and adhere to the store’s Standard Operating Procedures. A significant part of the role involves engaging directly with customers on the sales floor, offering helpful assistance, and promoting the company’s product offerings through suggestive selling techniques. Team Leaders also play an important role by spending a substantial amount of time on the floor helping where needed and supporting overall store operations.

Key responsibilities include following departmental procedures to maximize sales through effective product preparation, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising. Team members are responsible for preparing, packaging, weighing, and pricing products accurately, monitoring product freshness, completing necessary logs related to spoilage and temperature, and assisting with inventory checks. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment is also a critical aspect of the job, along with ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The role requires punctuality, proper personal grooming, and readiness to work scheduled shifts including attending required trainings and meetings. Team members must be able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a strong work ethic and a passion for natural foods and Whole Foods Market’s mission.

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $24.40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
