Job Requirements
- 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience including prescription processing inventory management and customer inquiries
- Valid pharmacist license in this state
- Ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences days off or scheduled time off
- Understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
- Able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment
- Available to work within operating hours per diem hours Monday-Friday 10am-6pm PST
- This is an in-person position
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of pharmacy degree or equivalent
- Valid pharmacist license in the state
- 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience including prescription processing inventory management and customer inquiries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Ability to counsel patients and provide drug-related information clearly
Job Duties
- Learn systems thoroughly managing both internal and external pharmacy operations
- Be a team player handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing filling inventory and customer inquiries
- Communicate well with doctors' offices pharmacies and insurers to meet prescription needs
- Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
- Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items
