The Per Diem Pharmacist role at Capsule is essential in ensuring the smooth and accurate fulfillment of prescription orders. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of both internal and external pharmacy operations, emphasizing team collaboration and exceptional customer service. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will manage prescription processing, filling, inventory oversight, and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and care. Communication is key, as you will interact directly with doctors' offices, other pharmacies, and insurance providers to address prescription needs. Beyond dispensation, this role includes counseling patients on medication use, offering drug-related information, and assisting with over-the-counter products.

This in-person role operates from Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm PST, emphasizing flexibility to cover unplanned absences or scheduled time off. Job Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience including prescription processing inventory management and customer inquiries
  • Valid pharmacist license in this state
  • Ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences days off or scheduled time off
  • Understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment
  • Available to work within operating hours per diem hours Monday-Friday 10am-6pm PST
  • This is an in-person position

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of pharmacy degree or equivalent
  • Valid pharmacist license in the state
  • 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience including prescription processing inventory management and customer inquiries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Ability to counsel patients and provide drug-related information clearly
