Job Description

Admiral Beverage is a well-established company dedicated to investing in its people, business partners, and communities to consistently grow and deliver the best products and services in the region. The company operates with the strength and resources of a large corporation, while maintaining a small-town, friendly, and family-driven mindset, creating a supportive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth. Admiral Beverage prides itself on offering competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plans, paid leave, holidays, and much more, emphasizing the company’s commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of its employees. This combination of excellent pay, benefits, and a welcoming culture makes Admiral Beverage a reputable employer in the beverage distribution industry.

The current opening at Admiral Beverage is for a Class A Delivery Driver based in Springville, Utah. This role involves the critical responsibility of driving a truck over an established route to deliver beverage products efficiently while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The driver will operate across various environments, including highways, rural roads, and city streets, often working independently without direct supervision to complete deliveries. This position demands strong communication skills to address any issues or concerns from customers by reporting them to supervisors promptly. In addition to product delivery, the driver is responsible for accurately recording sales, buy-backs, deliveries, and any variances using computerized inventory and invoicing systems. Drivers will also be tasked with operating equipment such as hand trucks and electric pallet jacks, collecting empty containers or unsold merchandise, and handling the loading and unloading of trucks with a focus on securing loads safely.

Admiral Beverage expects the Class A Delivery Driver to maintain their vehicle's condition through daily inspections and routine maintenance of fluids, air, and oil, along with keeping the vehicle clean and in compliance with safety standards. The driver is also responsible for constructing or assembling promotional display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials and wearing the company uniform and appropriate safety gear as required. Depending on the route, this role may include supervisory responsibilities.

Candidates must meet specific qualifications to be considered for this role, including holding a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, obtaining a DOT medical card, and meeting all company driver qualifications. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent training and experience, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, dependability, and safety. The position requires someone physically capable of handling job demands such as lifting heavy loads up to 140 pounds, working in various weather conditions, and operating in a noisy environment. The role suits individuals who possess good math and communication skills, can follow detailed instructions, and demonstrate excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

This job offers an opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic company that values its employees and fosters a culture of growth and community involvement. Admiral Beverage looks for motivated individuals ready to contribute to the company’s continued success and uphold its high standards of customer care, safety, and operational excellence.
