Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant culinary experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
- Basic math proficiency
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reach seven feet, twist, bend, and squat
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts in moderate to high noise levels
- Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, whip foods, and operate kitchen equipment
- Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and during events
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
- Basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- Leadership skills to train and guide kitchen team members
Job Duties
- Review menus and customer orders to determine food types and quantities to prepare while complying with portion sizes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food temperatures, storage, freshness, and packaging to specification
- Maintain clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked workstations, coolers, and equipment
- Uphold kitchen and storage facility sanitation
- Record all waste according to spoilage guidelines
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
- Conduct end-of-day inventory in compliance with operational guidelines
