The Cook 3 position at Delaware North Sportservice at Truist Park is a seasonal role offering a competitive hourly wage of $20.05. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant culinary experience
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reach seven feet, twist, bend, and squat
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts in moderate to high noise levels
  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, whip foods, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and during events

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
  • Basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Leadership skills to train and guide kitchen team members

Job Duties

  • Review menus and customer orders to determine food types and quantities to prepare while complying with portion sizes and quality standards
  • Ensure proper food temperatures, storage, freshness, and packaging to specification
  • Maintain clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked workstations, coolers, and equipment
  • Uphold kitchen and storage facility sanitation
  • Record all waste according to spoilage guidelines
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Conduct end-of-day inventory in compliance with operational guidelines
