At Pei Wei, Shift Leaders play a critical role in the success of the restaurant by directly assisting the Management teams. They are responsible for training and guiding team members in all aspects of the restaurant, from guest service to kitchen execution. Shift Leaders also take the lead role in the absence of Management and are crucial in understanding and using back-office systems effectively. The role requires comfort in leadership and the ability to lead the team during shifts through coaching, delegation, and verification.
