Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre-employment post offer background check
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Can communicate effectively in English
- Proven cooking experience
- Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and food safety regulations
- Upbeat and friendly attitude
- Open availability and flexible schedule
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Able to bend and kneel through shift
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds or more
Job Qualifications

- Proven cooking experience, including line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook roles
- Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, food safety regulations including proper handling, sanitation, and storage

- Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Physical ability to bend, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds or more
Job Duties
- Prepare food for service i.e. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces. Using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment
- Restock and/or break down workstation at the conclusion of the shift
- Assist in controlling product costs by ensuring proper management of product waste
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Demonstrate speed and efficiency with the ability to multi-task and maintain organizational structure
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
