Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment post offer background check
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Proven cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Open and flexible availability for demanding hours
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds or more

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven cooking experience including as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Proven knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

  • Accuracy and speed in executing tasks

Job Duties

  • Prepare food for service using approved recipes and production standards
  • Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment
  • Restock and break down workstation at the conclusion of shift
  • Assist in controlling product costs by managing product waste
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Demonstrate speed, efficiency, and ability to multitask
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
