Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food menu items to company specifications
- stock pantry station fully before the shift
- setup, operation, breakdown, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- knowledge of proper handling of all chemicals used in the building
- consistently use all prep tools and equipment according to safety guidelines
- operate the POS system
- learn restaurant menu and recipes and guide guests on choosing menu items, modifying dishes according to guest needs
- use proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- possess a current Food Handler's Card
- use cleaning chemicals properly
- follow dress code
- perform duties associated with kitchen operations
- work around various levels of temperature including warm to extremely warm temperatures
- stock and organize daily or weekly deliveries
- wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils, and maintain all areas of the restaurant
