Candidates will be trained to learn the restaurant menu and recipes to assist guests in selecting menu items, including managing preferences between spicy and mild options and accommodating modifications due to dietary restrictions or allergies. Proper sanitation practices and safety procedures are mandatory, and the possession of a current Food Handler's Card is required where applicable.
This role also encompasses routine kitchen duties such as washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining and sanitizing equipment and utensils, and organizing deliveries. The work environment requires the ability to operate effectively in various temperature conditions, from warm to extremely warm areas common in kitchen settings. Teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are critical to success.
