Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
previous experience as a cashier and operating a POS system
understanding of English language
ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers, employees and management
basic math skills and computer proficiency
ability to work in a team environment
ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

Job Duties

Accommodate guest's needs by greeting them in a timely professional manner and providing them with information about the menu and "How to Pei Wei"
fulfill orders placed by guests for dining in or take away in person, by phone or online
responsible for overall set-up, maintenance and closing duties for the front of the house in accordance with Pei Wei SOP's
process phone orders promptly
take and process customer orders into POS system
process and total order on POS system and apply customer payment into register
process credit cards, take cash and make correct change for customer payment
greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant
package take home orders for customers
tabulate data regarding bills, total amounts, restaurant expenses in POS system
maintain and clean front of house area including drink and condiment station
follow dress code
work around various levels of temperature including warm to extremely warm temperatures in the kitchen
