Job Description
Cook Children’s Physician Network (CCPN) is a leading healthcare provider specializing in pediatric care. With a mission rooted deeply in community wellness, CCPN offers extensive healthcare services that focus on the unique needs of children from birth through adolescence. Operating as part of the larger Cook Children’s Health Care System, CCPN prides itself on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care through a team-oriented approach. The network includes several community-based Neighborhood Health Centers that act as primary medical homes for children, particularly addressing the health requirements of underserved populations. These Neighborhood Centers are thoughtfully designed to integrate health services seamlessly with community resources and partnerships, ensuring that children and their families receive timely and comprehensive healthcare support. The centers emphasize preventive care, early intervention, and continuous health management, tailored to support children's overall development and well-being. Their commitment to outreach and accessibility demonstrates how CCPN stands apart in pediatric healthcare, making it a trusted option for families in the area.
Currently, CCPN has an excellent opportunity for a board certified or board eligible outpatient pediatrician to join one of their Neighborhood Health Centers. This role is ideal for a physician who is passionate about pediatric medicine and motivated by serving diverse communities, including underserved children and families. As a member of the medical team at the Neighborhood Health Center, the pediatrician will have the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment, partnering with healthcare professionals and community organizations to optimize patient care. Responsibilities include managing the health needs of pediatric patients from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, delivering evidence-based medical care, and contributing to the holistic health strategy of the center. Physicians in this role benefit from a balance of outpatient clinical duties alongside opportunities for professional growth, cooperative engagement in multidisciplinary teams, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community. Employment with CCPN includes competitive compensation, continuing medical education (CME) opportunities, paid time off, malpractice coverage, health and dental insurance, and participation in a robust retirement program. This full-time position requires an unrestricted Texas Medical License and board certification or eligibility, underscoring a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in pediatric healthcare.
