Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to work flexible schedules based on office needs
  • availability to travel occasionally to another site within reason
  • prior healthcare experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to handle confidential information according to HIPAA

  • prior front desk, concierge, customer service or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greets families professionally both in person and on the phone
  • answers patient/family questions and seeks clarification when needed
  • accesses empathy and active listening in difficult interpersonal situations
  • supports patient care quality initiatives as directed
  • coordinates escalations and urgent issues for timely resolution
  • collaborates with site leadership to manage complex patient issues
  • employs PM Pediatric Care's core values to assist patients and families navigating PM systems
  • monitors and manages patient flow and assists with self-registration
  • maintains current knowledge on workflows and technology
  • registers patients and maintains accurate patient accounts while complying with HIPAA
  • manages incoming patient documents and correspondence properly
  • maintains confidentiality and privacy of patient information
  • performs opening and closing duties including organizing, stocking, sanitizing, and reconciling
  • executes other duties as assigned
