We are currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, the Patient Care Coordinator acts as the primary liaison between patients and the dental office, ensuring every patient experiences a warm, welcoming, and seamless visit. The PCC’s responsibilities include greeting patients professionally, introducing them to the office environment, coordinating various treatment services, and building strong, lasting relationships with patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional communication skills, a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a demonstrated ability in sales to help guide patients through their treatment options effectively.

This role involves maintaining a productive daily schedule by efficiently managing appointments in coordination with patients and dental staff, offering consultations to explain recommended treatments, discussing the costs, insurance coverage, and payment options to ensure transparency, and following up with patients after visits to foster ongoing relationships. Additionally, the role requires vigilance in ensuring compliance with health, privacy, and safety regulations to protect both patients and staff.

The Patient Care Coordinator position is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing patient satisfaction and engagement. Training and occasional travel may be required to stay current with the latest practices and policies. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in customer service, sales, receptionist or equivalent role preferably in healthcare or dental
  • Experience with dental practice management software preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to travel as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years of customer service role, sales, receptionist, or equivalent preferably in a healthcare or dental setting
  • Experience with dental practice management software such as Denticon/Dentrix preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, office staff, and third party stakeholders
  • Attention to detail in maintaining patient records and managing financial transactions

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients in a timely, professional and engaging manner
  • Maintain a productive daily schedule and schedule future appointments in coordination with patients and dental staff
  • Provide patient consultations and communicate information about recommended treatments, cost of service, insurance coverage and payment options
  • Contact patients to follow up on visits and to build lasting patient relationsships
  • Ensure compliance with health, privacy, and safety regulations
  • Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions
