The company is renowned for its commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, working closely with major airports to maintain critical airport infrastructure such as Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) and Baggage Handling Systems (BHS). JSM fosters a culture of career growth and long-term professional development, emphasizing teamwork, technical expertise, and operational excellence.
Currently, JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated PBB/BHS Junior Technician to join their dedicated team. This position is an excellent career-track opportunity for individuals looking to establish a solid professional future within the aviation maintenance sector. The role primarily involves entry-level responsibilities with a strong emphasis on the maintenance, operational support, and troubleshooting of Passenger Boarding Bridges and Baggage Handling Systems at the airport. The technician will be responsible for electro-mechanical operational, preventative, and emergency maintenance activities that ensure the smooth functioning of these complex systems critical to airport operations.
This full-time position offers a starting hourly wage of $20.00, which is dependent on the candidate's relevant experience, and includes weekly pay. The work schedule aligns with the airport's continuous operational demands, requiring flexibility to work various shifts within a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operational setting. Holiday work is also a component when holidays occur during a regular work schedule. Shifts are assigned based on the operational needs of the airport, company requirements, and the technician’s skill set and experience, which underscores the dynamic nature of this role.
The PBB/BHS Junior Technician position offers numerous benefits and opportunities for career advancement with JSM. These include ongoing career development and specialized training to enhance technical skills, the chance to collaborate with a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and access to comprehensive health benefits. Additional perks such as wellness programs, paid time off, paid holidays, and employee assistance programs contribute to a supportive work environment. Employees also benefit from retirement savings plans with company match, education and tuition assistance, employee discounts, and a uniform and footwear program, helping to promote both comfort and professionalism on the job.
Overall, this role is ideal for candidates eager to contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of essential airport infrastructure while building a rewarding career with a respected company dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunities.
