Job Requirements
- Full-time availability primarily Monday through Friday
- Experience working in a private household or similar environment
- Ability to start mid-August
- Resident or willing to commute to Downtown Boston area
- Reliable and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Proficiency in grocery shopping and kitchen management
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a private chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of healthy and nutritious meal preparation
- Excellent cooking techniques and presentation skills
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory and food ordering
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare lunch and dinner meals primarily Monday through Friday
- Shop for groceries and household food supplies
- Maintain and organize refrigerator and pantry to ensure proper stock
- Plan nutritious and healthy menus that meet family preferences
- Collaborate effectively with family members and household staff
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and waste efficiently
