The Service Associate role at Saint Luke's is designed to provide essential support in patient transportation within the hospital. This part-time position, offering 20 hours weekly from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, plays a critical role in ensuring patients move safely and efficiently throughout various departments. As a Patient Transporter, the Service Associate responsibly moves patients by wheelchair or cart, adhering to strict infection prevention protocols and patient transfer techniques to protect patient safety and comfort. Communication with nursing and clinical staff is vital in this role, ensuring smooth coordination and responsiveness to patient needs. Attention to detail is crucial as the Service Associate must maintain and protect the integrity of patients' tubes, lines, and collection devices while also managing the transportation of valuables and equipment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a related setting
