Job Duties
- Safely escort and transport patients within all hospital areas using safe body mechanics
- Adhere strictly to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara
- Communicate clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients
- Ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments
- Assist with patient comfort and safety during transport
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly
