The Patient Services Manager position is a full-time role with rotating shifts, focused on overseeing the patient foodservice unit within the Regional Health Ministry's Food & Nutrition Services Department. Job Requirements
- BA or BS degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics or equivalent
- minimum three years progressive experience in healthcare foodservice management
- Certified Dietary Manager certification and at least five years supervisory or management experience
- ability to work effectively in diverse, collaborative, and team-oriented culture
- capability to develop methodologies for data collection and analysis

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in institutional management or dietetics
- minimum of three years progressive experience in healthcare foodservice management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred with at least five years of supervisory or management experience
- Registered Dietitian preferred
- excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Job Duties
- Directly supervise day-to-day operation of patient foodservice
- standardize operating procedures for expense management and patient foodservice operations
- implement core program systems including menus, audit tools, and competencies
- support dietitians and foodservice staff with education and resources
- ensure adherence to clinical care policies and nutrition plans
- manage budgeting and financial controls, including preparing annual expense budgets and monthly reviews
- develop, revise, and maintain educational materials for patients, families, and medical professionals
- lead quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement plans
