Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • minimum one year of experience in patient food service operations in healthcare
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • knowledge of healthcare nutrition regulations
  • eligibility for relocation assistance if applicable
  • ability to enforce safety and sanitation standards
  • capable of supervising teams effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in patient food service operations and tray line execution within a healthcare environment
  • strong understanding of patient-centered service delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • experience in an acute care hospital setting, including patient meal service and tray line operations (100-300 beds preferred)
  • one year or more of acute care patient food service experience
  • prior supervisory or lead experience supporting frontline food service staff

Job Duties

  • Manage daily patient food service operations in compliance with established standards and procedures
  • lead and support patient service staff to ensure meals are accurately prepared, assembled, and delivered in a timely manner
  • conduct regular patient and departmental rounds to assess service quality and address opportunities for improvement
  • oversee diet office operations and the Service Ambassador program to ensure effective communication and service execution
  • monitor, document, and enforce safety and sanitation compliance
  • supervise tray line operations and/or room service programs to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy
  • leverage Aramark's coaching model to engage, develop, and maximize team member performance
