This job opportunity is based at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, CA, within the Food & Nutrition Department. The role offered is Patient Services Manager, a key leadership position responsible for managing patient dining operations. The manager will develop and execute dining solutions tailored to meet patient nutritional needs, accommodate preferences, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Job Requirements

  • minimum one year of experience in patient food service operations in healthcare

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in patient food service operations and tray line execution within a healthcare environment
  • strong understanding of patient-centered service delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • experience in an acute care hospital setting, including patient meal service and tray line operations (100-300 beds preferred)
  • one year or more of acute care patient food service experience
  • prior supervisory or lead experience supporting frontline food service staff

Job Duties

  • Manage daily patient food service operations in compliance with established standards and procedures
  • lead and support patient service staff to ensure meals are accurately prepared, assembled, and delivered in a timely manner
  • conduct regular patient and departmental rounds to assess service quality and address opportunities for improvement
  • oversee diet office operations and the Service Ambassador program to ensure effective communication and service execution
  • monitor, document, and enforce safety and sanitation compliance
  • supervise tray line operations and/or room service programs to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy
  • leverage Aramark's coaching model to engage, develop, and maximize team member performance
