Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- minimum one year of experience in patient food service operations in healthcare
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- knowledge of healthcare nutrition regulations
- eligibility for relocation assistance if applicable
- ability to enforce safety and sanitation standards
- capable of supervising teams effectively
Job Qualifications
- Experience in patient food service operations and tray line execution within a healthcare environment
- strong understanding of patient-centered service delivery in a fast-paced environment
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- experience in an acute care hospital setting, including patient meal service and tray line operations (100-300 beds preferred)
- one year or more of acute care patient food service experience
- prior supervisory or lead experience supporting frontline food service staff
Job Duties
- Manage daily patient food service operations in compliance with established standards and procedures
- lead and support patient service staff to ensure meals are accurately prepared, assembled, and delivered in a timely manner
- conduct regular patient and departmental rounds to assess service quality and address opportunities for improvement
- oversee diet office operations and the Service Ambassador program to ensure effective communication and service execution
- monitor, document, and enforce safety and sanitation compliance
- supervise tray line operations and/or room service programs to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy
- leverage Aramark's coaching model to engage, develop, and maximize team member performance
