Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office, registration, or front desk role preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations is a plus
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as NextGen, Cerner, or Epic

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Check patients in and out of appointments and procedures
  • Verify insurance benefits and collect copays or balances as needed
  • Accurately enter patient information into the electronic system
  • Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
  • Collaborate with clinical and business office staff to support smooth daily operations
