Job Requirements
- Two plus years experience in a concierge or liaison role or equivalent
- Ability to speak, write, and read Spanish fluently
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass the Cedars-Sinai Medical Interpreter Exam
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, California
- Availability to work day shifts of 8 hours
Job Qualifications
- Two plus years experience in a concierge or liaison role or equivalent
- Ability to speak, write, and read Spanish fluently
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong cultural sensitivity and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the medical field preferred
- Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide interpretation services for patients during physician appointments and hospital visits
- Translate medical records for second opinion consultations
- Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to support high-quality patient care
- Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries and non-clinical needs
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures
- Handle patient complaints and questions, escalating issues as needed
- Adhere to patient services protocols and complete charting in appropriate applications
- Perform basic audits for assigned initiatives
- Pass the Cedars-Sinai Medical Interpreter Exam
