The Patient Experience Concierge at Baptist Health serves as the hospital’s Director of First Impression. This essential role involves being the primary point of contact for patients and their families, addressing their initial needs and ensuring they receive accurate and helpful information. The concierge maintains strong relationships with supporting departments to facilitate smooth communication and service. Excellence in customer service and positive interpersonal skills are crucial, as the role requires respectful, courteous, and helpful interaction with patients across all age groups, families, community members, and hospital staff. The Patient Experience Concierge acknowledges, greets, and assists visitors, representing the hospital positively while aiming to leave a lasting, favorable first impression.
A key part of the concierge’s responsibility is serving as a liaison between the patient, family, and clinical staff, using strong communication skills to address concerns effectively. The role demands a proactive approach to resolving complaints, problems, or special needs quickly and satisfactorily.
