Sodexo is currently seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager 2 to manage food service operations at ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital is the second largest hospital in the ChristianaCare health system, featuring 350 inpatient beds and a wide variety of outpatient services. Serving the tri-state area including Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, the hospital is renowned for its high standards of patient care and has earned recognition as one of the top 100 Health Systems in the United States. Delaware itself is rated as the top state for healthcare in the country, reinforcing the quality and importance of this healthcare institution.

The role of Patient Services Manager 2 places you at the forefront of enhancing the patient dining experience within this busy hospital environment. This high-paced, high-volume position requires someone who naturally works well with teams, supports their colleagues, and strives for excellence in service delivery. The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with every fifth weekend rotation. This role offers a competitive salary based on education, experience, skills, and training.

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing service levels targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction. You will oversee the daily operations of Sodexo's Patient Dining Program including meal rounding and service recovery, ensuring that all standards are met and that regulatory inspections and audits are successful. Collaborating closely with clinical staff, food service teams, and interdisciplinary departments, you will continuously work to enhance the overall patient experience.

Additionally, this role involves performing tray assessments to confirm food quality, presentation, and tray accuracy. You will directly supervise hourly associates, providing development opportunities and managing employee performance to maintain a motivated and effective team.
