Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • additional education or certification in healthcare administration or customer service is a plus
  • proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical, aesthetic practice or food and beverage
  • exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly phone manner
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems or computer software applications
  • ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong sense of professionalism
  • flexibility to work during office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • familiarity with plastic surgery procedures, medical terminology, and insurance processes is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about our services, scheduling, and procedures
  • schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring that patient preferences and availability are taken into consideration
  • maintain patient records and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • collaborate with the medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
  • manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and faxes
  • assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents, ensuring their understanding and compliance
