Our commitment to providing innovative and patient-centric care has established us as a trusted institution in the field of oncology. We focus on delivering cutting-edge treatments with a compassionate approach, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and comprehensive care throughout their journey.
As a part of the Ackerman Advantage, we emphasize work-life balance to foster both personal and professional fulfillment among our team members. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Patient Concierge to join our team on a part-time basis, working Monday through Friday evenings from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM. This role is essential in shaping the first impression of our center, providing warm and professional assistance to patients and visitors as they arrive.
The Patient Concierge acts as the welcoming face of Ackerman Cancer Center, responsible for maintaining the front desk and lobby environment to ensure it is inviting and comfortable. In addition to greeting guests, this role involves preparing and restocking refreshments such as coffee, water, and cookies to enhance the patient experience. The concierge assists with check-in procedures, answers and routes phone calls, and supports the front office team with various administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Candidates suited for this role possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly and empathetic demeanor, and a strong attention to detail. Dependability and punctuality are key, as is the ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Familiarity with basic computer applications and office technology is also necessary.
Joining Ackerman Cancer Center means becoming part of a compassionate and innovative healthcare community dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of cancer patients. We invite you to be part of a team that values professionalism, confidentiality, and caring attitudes at all times, ensuring an exemplary patient experience from the very first point of contact.
