The role of Patient Concierge at BEST is integral to its mission of improving the healthcare experience for patients and their families within client hospitals. This full-time position is designed to provide compassionate and attentive service, acting as a vital link between the hospital environment and patient needs. Scheduled shifts may vary and include options from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday through Sunday, depending on operational requirements. Reporting to the Patient Concierge Manager, this non-exempt role requires a person with a servant-hearted, empathetic, and approachable demeanor who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The Patient Concierge's primary objective is to deliver excellent customer service by fulfilling the diverse needs of patients and their families. Responsibilities include rounding to check on patients, providing care and comfort, running errands, and using BEST’s service management technology to accurately document service activities. This role demands high levels of interpersonal skills, stress tolerance, and the ability to handle dynamic situations with poise and professionalism. A successful Patient Concierge at BEST will demonstrate transparent, authentic, and solution-oriented characteristics, playing a pivotal role in alleviating stress and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • At least one year experience in customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with point-of-sale technology
  • Ability to handle high stress and emotional situations
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Maintain required vehicle insurance coverage

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, three to five years preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Skilled with point-of-sale technology platforms and data entry accuracy
