This full-time, office-based Assistant position is an integral part of Medpace’s Patient Recruitment & Retention team located in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on providing essential support to Patient Travel Coordinators and Managers who assist patients directly with travel and payment services during their clinical trial participation. The assistant will handle a variety of day-to-day project support activities such as maintaining project files, coordinating communication between clinical research sites and patients or caregivers, assisting with financial reconciliations related to travel expenses, and ensuring accurate administrative procedures in line with company policies. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be crucial in processing patient reimbursements, scheduling travel arrangements, and updating databases to facilitate the tracking and documentation of study activities. This position offers a collaborative work environment within a global team setting, promoting continuous learning and professional growth opportunities. The assistant will also contribute to other functional areas within Patient Recruitment & Retention, supporting ad hoc projects and performing additional administrative tasks as needed. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide day-to-day project support activities including maintenance of project-related files, send documents to clinical research sites, communicate with research staff at the site, coordinate support with patients and/or caregivers
- Assist with financial reconciliations of travel receipts and invoices and financial reporting related to travel expenses
- Perform administrative duties in conformity with company policies and procedures
- Process patient reimbursements and schedule travel arrangements for patients
- Maintain databases/spreadsheets to facilitate tracking and documentation of study activities
- Support other Patient Recruitment & Retention functional areas on ad hoc projects
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
