Job Description

Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is a well-established dental care provider that has been serving communities across Texas since 1967. Known for its personal approach to dentistry, this company emphasizes treating each patient as a unique individual, ensuring that every care plan is customized to meet specific needs. Over the decades, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics has built a reputation not just for clinical excellence but also for building lasting relationships with patients, creating trusted experiences that foster long-term oral health. They believe in creating smiles that impact lives, making them a life-changing dental provider dedicated to both patient satisfaction and superior dental care.

The company is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their frontline team as Patient Concierges, also known as Front Desk team members. This role is foundational in delivering a five-star patient experience. Patient Concierges serve as the welcoming face and final courteous presence patients encounter during their visit. The position involves greeting patients warmly, facilitating open and educational communication about their visit, processing patient paperwork, verifying insurance details, and scheduling appointments whether for new patients, recalls, or emergencies. Moreover, Patient Concierges receive cross-training in basic back-office functions to enhance their ability to support the overall patient experience.

This full-time role demands a warm, organized, and motivated individual committed to excellent customer service and operational efficiency. Working at Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics offers a dynamic environment where teamwork, trust, and open communication are paramount for driving a collaborative office culture. The Patient Concierge not only engages patients but also plays a critical role in maintaining smooth front office operations and effective patient flow, contributing directly to patient satisfaction and retention.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $14.00 to $15.00 and requires availability for varied shifts including five days a week and alternating Saturdays, with two Saturdays each month mandatory. The physical demands of the role include standing, walking, use of hands and arms, and requires certain vision capabilities such as close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, occasional travel may be necessary to assist at alternate locations or attend training sessions.

Joining Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics means becoming part of a team that is passionate about changing lives through dental care and creating memorable experiences for each patient. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) retirement plans, dental, health, and vision insurance, along with paid time off, supporting the wellbeing and stability of its team members.
