Job Requirements

  • culinary degree or certificate
  • relevant culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
  • ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs
  • servsafe certification

Job Qualifications

  • a.o.s. degree in culinary arts or culinary certificate
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience
  • experience with high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • knowledge of food and catering trends
  • strong focus on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet use
  • servsafe certification

Job Duties

  • assist in supervising the culinary department
  • prepare and cook various pastry and food items
  • develop and execute daily menu items and presentation
  • supervise hourly kitchen associates
  • collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new menus and assist with ordering
  • manage cost controls and expenditures
  • produce and execute catering events
  • implement new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams
