Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a club or hotel pastry kitchen
- Serve safe certification or strong knowledge of sanitation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended durations
- Proficiency in English communication
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Physical ability to perform baking and decorating tasks
- Understanding of kitchen equipment operation
Job Qualifications
- A culinary degree or ACF equivalent preferred
- Serve safe certification preferred or sound understanding of sanitation practices
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long durations
- Able to understand and communicate in English

Job Duties
- Assist with the preparation of all baked goods including breads, desserts, pastries, and decorative pieces
- Maintain production standards across all pastry shop stations
- Ensure all food products meet highest quality standards
- Oversee daily pastry cart offerings and menu specials
- Assist in training new employees and stewards on shop procedures and recipes
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Monitor daily banquet dessert and bread requirements and prepare items accordingly
