Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of prior culinary supervisory experience in a hospitality environment preferred
  • fluent in communicating speaking reading and writing in English

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a pastry sous chef or similar role in an upscale or fine-dining setting
  • strong technical skills in pastry baking and dessert preparation
  • creative flair with a keen eye for detail and presentation
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to thrive under pressure and manage a high-volume fast-paced environment
  • culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the executive pastry chef to develop and execute an exceptional pastry program
  • assist in managing day-to-day pastry operations ensuring consistency and quality
  • supervise and mentor pastry team members to foster growth and maintain standards
  • contribute to seasonal menu development and innovative dessert concepts
  • oversee inventory ordering and cost control for the pastry department
  • ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
