Spielman's is currently seeking an experienced Pastry Baker to join their team in a full-time role, offering a steady four-day work schedule. The ideal candidate will bring over three years of professional pastry baking experience and more than one year of leadership experience. The Pastry Baker will play a critical role in leading the pastry room—a close-knit team of five professionals including the lead baker—with ample opportunities for growth and development. This position involves direct responsibility for production scheduling, training new team members, setting the department's tone, and fostering a collaborative, efficient environment. Key duties also include scaling ingredients accurately, mixing, pastry preparation, baking, packing, cleaning, handling basic computer tasks such as printing worksheets, and daily communication with fellow staff and management.
