Job Requirements

  • At least one year of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or completion of pastry school
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler's certification
  • Reliable and able to commit to at least four shifts per week with early morning start times (4 AM)
  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Open to feedback and eager to develop new skills
  • Able to meet physical demands of standing/walking for up to 10 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working in an environment with potential allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, eggs, and dairy

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Bake off croissants and breakfast pastries each morning
  • Produce cookies, cakes, jams, custards, and other dessert components
  • Prepare and serve items from the cafe and grab-and-go menus
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace including dishwashing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing
  • Collaborate with team members and assist where needed to ensure smooth operations
