Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a prep cook or similar role
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under pressure
  • knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety standards
  • attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • work well within a team
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate a physically active service environment
  • 1-3 years of experience as a prep cook, preferably in a high-intensity, high-volume kitchen
  • wood-fired cooking experience is ideal but not required
  • basic knowledge of cooking techniques and excellent knife skills
  • strong passion and dedication to food, beverage, and hospitality
  • a professional, friendly personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • must possess a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate professionalism, commitment to the team, and high quality work
  • communicate effectively with the front of house and leadership to ensure smooth service flow
  • perform duties as assigned by leadership to support our commitment to hospitality, quality food, and beverage
  • prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts, with a focus on cakes, doughs, and breads
  • set up, stock, and organize assigned station with necessary ingredients and supplies
  • follow standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, labeling, and storage
  • maintain station in compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during busy hours
  • support fellow team members during service
  • complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties to restaurant standards
  • be flexible and be able to adjust to the changing needs of the restaurant and its guests
