Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
  • certification or willingness to obtain food safety certification
  • basic mathematical proficiency
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment and uniforms
  • commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or related field
  • understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
  • certification in food safety
  • basic math skills and accurate counting
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong interpersonal abilities
  • physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • ability to use Personal Protective Equipment and wear designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • set up workstation with baking supplies and equipment
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • safely employ kitchen tools including knives during food preparation
  • implement proper storage practices following food safety policies
  • sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after completing tasks
  • demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when assisting guests and colleagues
  • adhere to Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation practices
  • maintain security of company assets by following safety measures
