Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in baking or pastry preparation preferred
  • Certification in food safety required
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Basic math skills for measuring and counting
  • Physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms as required
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Background in the baking industry or related field
  • Understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety required
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurate counting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities for effective interaction
  • Physical capability to handle lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Experience using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and wearing designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients as needed
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers safely
  • Employ kitchen tools responsibly during food preparation
  • Implement proper storage practices in accordance with food safety policies
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after use to maintain hygiene
  • Provide excellent customer service with a positive demeanor
  • Adhere to Aramark safety policies, including food safety and sanitation practices
  • Maintain security of company assets by following designated safety measures
