Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous baking or pastry experience preferred
certification or willingness to obtain food safety certification
strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and guidelines precisely
good physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing and handling heavy equipment
ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
availability to wear personal protective equipment and uniforms as required

Job Qualifications

Background in baking industry or related field
proven understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
certification in food safety
ability to understand basic mathematical principles and perform accurate counting
excellent written and verbal communication skills
strong interpersonal skills in interactions with others
ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
ability to use personal protective equipment and wear designated uniforms

Job Duties

Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
measure, weigh, mix, chop, and complete other tasks to organize ingredients
use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
safely employ kitchen tools such as knives during food prep activities
implement proper storage practices as per food safety policies
sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
abide by Aramark safety policies and food safety and sanitation practices
maintain the security of company assets through adherence to safety measures
