Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in baking or food preparation
  • Certification in food safety or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking industry or related field
  • Proven understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
  • Certification or ability to obtain certification in food safety
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement and counting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Experience in using personal protective equipment and wearing designated uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstations with required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Safely employ kitchen tools including knives for food preparation
  • Implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
