Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in baking or food preparation
- Certification in food safety or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Commitment to adhere to safety and sanitation policies
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniform
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking industry or related field
- Proven understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
- Certification or ability to obtain certification in food safety
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement and counting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Experience in using personal protective equipment and wearing designated uniforms
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Set up workstations with required baking supplies and equipment
- Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
- Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Safely employ kitchen tools including knives for food preparation
- Implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after work to prevent germ spread
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
- Maintain security of company assets through compliance with safety measures
