Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
  • Certification in food safety required
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and handling kitchen tools
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniform as required

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or related field
  • Understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Experience using personal protective equipment and following uniform standards

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • Use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Safely employ kitchen tools including knives for food preparation
  • Implement proper storage practices as per food safety policies
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
  • Abide by Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
  • Maintain the security of company assets by adhering to safety measures
