Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior baking experience preferred
- certification in food safety required
- ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
- physical capacity to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended durations
- ability to operate baking equipment and kitchen tools safely
- adherence to company safety and sanitation policies
Job Qualifications
- Background in baking industry or related field
- understanding of baking practices, benchmarks, and food safety protocols
- certification in food safety
- basic mathematical skills and accurate counting ability
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong interpersonal abilities
- ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and wear designated uniforms
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- set up workstation with required baking supplies and equipment
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
- operate baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- use kitchen tools safely during food preparation
- implement proper storage practices as per food safety policies
- sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after work
- provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive demeanor
- follow Aramark safety policies emphasizing food safety and sanitation
- maintain security of company assets through safety compliance
