Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in baking or pastry making
  • certification in food safety
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and safety protocols
  • physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to adhere to uniform and PPE guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or related field
  • proven understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
  • certification in food safety
  • knowledge of basic mathematical principles
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong interpersonal abilities
  • physical capability for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking
  • experience using personal protective equipment and wearing uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • use baking equipment such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • safely employ kitchen tools during food preparation
  • implement proper storage practices as per food safety policies
  • sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after work
  • provide excellent customer service maintaining a positive demeanor
  • adhere to Aramark safety policies including food safety and sanitation
  • maintain security of company assets through safety measures
