Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in baking or pastry making
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
  • Physical capability to perform all job duties including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compliance with safety and sanitation policies

Job Qualifications

  • Background in the baking industry or a related field
  • Proven understanding of baking practices and food safety protocols
  • Certification in food safety
  • Ability to understand basic mathematical principles and accurate counting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Physical ability to handle tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Experience using personal protective equipment and wearing uniforms

Job Duties

  • Bake and prepare an assortment of pastries using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Set up workstation with all required baking supplies and equipment
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, and organize ingredients
  • Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Safely employ kitchen tools such as knives for food preparation
  • Implement proper storage practices according to food safety policies
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after finishing work
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and maintain positive demeanor
  • Abide by Aramark safety policies, emphasizing food safety and sanitation
  • Maintain security of company assets through strict adherence to safety measures
