The available position is for a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, which can be full-time or part-time, based at Monsieur Dior. The role involves preparing bakery products to ensure they are served with the utmost freshness and highest quality. As a key member of the pastry team, the Pastry Demi Chef de Partie will follow established recipes and portion sizes, maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, and ensure proper storage and baking temperatures of food items. The position is fast-paced and requires great attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility.

It is important to note that this is a tipped position, with an hourly pay range of $21.00 to $23.00, excluding tips. The work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and weekdays, providing flexibility to accommodate business needs. Physical stamina is also required, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during the shift.

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
  • keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • utilize kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, pots, steamers, and ovens to prepare food items
  • ensure proper baking temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
