- 1+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting
- Proficient in cake writing using buttercream or gel icing

Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Write personalized messages on cakes using various piping techniques with accuracy and aesthetic appeal
- Decorate cakes with buttercream, fondant, and other finishing elements as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in inventory management, including labeling and storing ingredients
- Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure timely and high-quality product output during peak periods
- Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor
- Handle food in a manner consistent with local health department guidelines
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas
