We are currently seeking a skilled Pastry Cook/Baker to join our team. This is a part-time to full-time position with competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Employees working 25 hours or more per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. As a Pastry Cook/Baker at The Henry, you will play an essential role in preparing bread and pastry recipes from scratch while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting, preferably with expertise in lamination techniques. Attention to detail, the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills are crucial for success in this role. Physical stamina is also important, as the job requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. The role demands adherence to all food safety and sanitation protocols and the ability to work weekends and some holidays. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as the Pastry Cook/Baker must be willing to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
