Job Requirements

  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Capacity to use kitchen tools and appliances safely
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical capability to lift, move, and stand for prolonged periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely and effectively
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check and report correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area and set up and break down work station
  • Monitor quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift
  • Comply with company policies including safety and security and report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Perform physical tasks including moving and lifting objects up to 25 pounds and working on uneven surfaces
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
