Currently, the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated Pastry Cook to join the esteemed Bourbon Steak team, the city’s premier steakhouse known for its modern, chic atmosphere and award-winning cuisine. Bourbon Steak combines American classics with an haute cuisine flair, showcasing seasonal ingredients and ethically sourced meats and seafood. This role offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about pastry arts and interested in working within a high-end, fast-paced dining environment.
The Pastry Cook will play a crucial role in delivering the quality and creativity expected at Bourbon Steak by preparing and presenting sophisticated desserts that complement the establishment’s fine dining experience. Job Requirements
- Must have a valid work authorization to work in the United States
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and late shifts
- Excellent hygiene and food safety knowledge

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of dessert items to meet quality standards
- Support the management team in maintaining high food quality and safety standards
- Assist in creating new dessert recipes and menu items

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with culinary team to coordinate timing and presentation of desserts
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
