Job Description

CoralTree Hospitality is a renowned hospitality company dedicated to creating exceptional experiences through its unique blend of innovative services and a commitment to employee growth and well-being. Known for its upscale hotels and resorts, CoralTree Hospitality stands out for its deep investment in team member happiness and professional development. The company fosters a collaborative culture built on respect, inclusivity, and consistent performance excellence. Employees enjoy a supportive environment enriched by comprehensive benefits, distinctive travel programs, and access to premium amenities, all crafted to enhance both career and personal lives.

The Pastry/Bake Shop Team Member role at CoralTree Hospitality, specifically within the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about creating delightful pastry and dessert experiences. This full-time, onsite position involves planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality bakery products such as pastries, breads, ice creams, sorbets, jams, and decorative centerpieces. The role plays a critical part in upholding the hotel’s department standards and contributing to a luxurious guest experience through both craftsmanship and keen attention to detail.

This role requires not only culinary skills but also a thorough understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Pastry Chef and Sous Chef, coordinating daily priorities, managing supplies, and ensuring the pastry section consistently meets the hotel’s high standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene. Responsibilities extend to maintaining organized and sanitary work stations, following precise recipes and yield guides, and effectively communicating any shortages or issues to management. The position also entails creating visually enticing displays and centerpieces for banquets and other special functions.

Joining CoralTree Hospitality means more than just a job; it means stepping into a culture that values your contribution and offers extensive benefits designed to support your lifestyle and career ambitions. Employees enjoy a comprehensive health coverage package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and even pet insurance, alongside financial security through a 401(k) plan with company matching. The company also provides an Employee Assistance Program, paid vacation, sick days, and holidays that promote a healthy work-life balance.

Additionally, team members benefit from exclusive discounts at top travel, entertainment, and retail brands such as Apple, Live Nation, Samsung, and Hertz. Specific perks at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel include wellness discounts at the nearby Performance Club, dining discounts at Tavistock Group Restaurants, and conveniences like meal provisions, uniforms, and parking. This comprehensive offer reflects CoralTree Hospitality’s dedication to employee wellness and satisfaction.

Candidates who thrive in fast-paced, quality-focused hospitality environments will find this a rewarding position where creativity, teamwork, and customer service converge. If you have prior experience in upscale hotel kitchens, a passion for pastry arts, and a commitment to upholding excellent standards, CoralTree Hospitality’s Pastry/Bake Shop team invites you to contribute to its world-class guest experiences.
