Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and following safety standards

  • ability to follow recipes and plating guides

  • attention to detail in food presentation and sanitation

Job Duties

  • prepare all menu items according to recipe requirements and adhere to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines
  • read tickets and prepare order
  • coordinate ticket with service/kitchen staff and managers
  • work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items
  • keep updated on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent product
  • bake pastry items according to pre-established recipes
  • follow plating and display standards
  • follow portion standards
  • maintain inventory of prepped ingredients
  • properly label and store ingredients
  • keep kitchen area and tools clean
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift
  • complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station
  • break down and clean station thoroughly every day
